Rosa Klijn
About
Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2001)
Visual artist, currently graduating the Royal Academy Of Arts (KABK) in The Hague.
Within my work I research how stories come to exist, and how they decay. Through
video installations, I create slow landscapes, and small movements, letting the surroundings
guide the narrative, gradually unfolding the storyline. Within this method I seek out
traces of fictional narratives in existing landscapes. By holding this tension between
what is remembered and what is imagined I hope to reconstruct initial interpretations.
Using both the imaginitive aspect, and the fragility of memory as a way to ultimately
preserve it.
